WELCOME TO THE GREEN STAMPEDE!

The Green Stampede is a free tutoring and homework-help program that serves Oakland elementary and middle school students, ages 11 through 15. We’ve been a non-profit working in the community for 10 years now! Tutoring sessions take place during weeknight home games for the Oakland Athletics and are conducted on-site in a conference room at the Oakland- Alameda County Coliseum. Our tutors include teachers, retired teachers, and current and recently graduated college students. After an hour and a half of homework help, students are rewarded for their hard work by going to the Section 145 right-center field bleachers to watch the game! At our last session, students get to meet some of their favorite Oakland A’s players!
